Thread work, and the film shows you how much of it there is.

Embroidery is usually where the price of a piece goes, so it is where the film earns its keep: on the reel you can see the stitch close up, whether it is dense or thin, and whether the thread catches the light. We source most embroidered work from Egypt and Turkey. If you want the same cut with a different thread colour, ask us on the piece before you pay — the supplier often has it.
