An open abaya is cut to hang loose down the front rather than fasten, so one piece does two jobs: a cover over a dress you already have, or a long coat over trousers. It packs well and it forgives a lot. Most of ours arrive from Dubai and Istanbul, and we film the front both open and belted so you can judge both before you decide.
